Welcome to High Top Outfitters Utah Cougar Hunting Information Page.
When it comes to harvesting big cats, we are the best in the business.
Our houndsman are handpicked and among the best in the nation.
Come with us and follow our pack of well trained hounds as
they track one of these elusive cats through some of the Rocky Mountains
most scenic country!
We hunt Cougars from November to May. We use 4-wheel drive
pickups, snowmobiles, ATV's, and horses to follow the
cats depending upon conditions.
A Cougar hunt with hounds can sometimes become a physical fitness
test. We recommend anyone interested in a hound hunt to be in
excellent physical condition. There is nothing more frustrating
for a hunter than to lack the stamina to make the entire run. For
those wishing to pursue this hunt, you are in for a very exciting
time.
Utah has a Conservation Tag program. Conservation Tags are 100%
tax deductible for the buyer. This conservation money is used on
wildlife projects here in Utah. It is money well spent for
wildlife and habitat. These tags allow us to hunt the premium
areas without waiting to draw a tag. We can assist you in
purchasing these tags and help you apply for the big game
drawings.
Below are some pictures of our past client's trophies.
