Utah Mule Deer
Overview:
Utah's mule deer have really made a comeback. With better
management, range improvement and predator control, 200 inch deer
are being harvested every year. With public land mule deer units
like the Famous Henry Mountains and Paunsaugunt it is easy to
understand why Utah fascinates trophy mule deer hunters across
the globe. The best units are on a public drawing and difficult
to get. We can also arrange to purchase landowner tags and
conservation tags on these better units.
We guide both resident and nonresident hunters on limited entry
and and general season hunts in Utah.
The Utah Limited Entry Mule Deer hunt is considered a trophy
hunt.
The Utah General Season Mule Deer hunt is not considered a trophy
hunt.
In 2012 The Utah DNR split the state up into 30 different genreal
season units. Detailed information below.
Utah Mule Deer Conservation Tag
Program:
Utah has a Conservation Tag program. Conservation Tags purchased
from a charitable organization are 100% tax deductible for the
buyer. This conservation money is used on wildlife projects here
in Utah. It is money well spent for wildlife and habitat. These
tags allow us to hunt the premium areas without waiting years and
years to draw a tag. We can assist you in purchasing these tags.
We can help you apply for the Utah big game drawings. If you are
after a trophy hunt we would recommend that you purchase a
conservation tag or contact us to find out the best limited entry
units to apply for.
Information on areas we hunt can be seen below.
